Garden Center
A good garden center is a lot like a department store. Everything you need to transform your yard into an outdoor oasis is right at your fingertips. If you are looking for the latest literature on perennial plants or just need a new watering can, the Garden Center at Poundridge Nurseries, Inc. has everything you need for a healthy, attractive garden. We feature Indoor and Outdoor Containers, Garden Art, Furniture, Gardening Supplies, and much more.
Located inside the historic Lockwood Estate barn built in 1778 and later renovated for store use, the cozy, traditional setting of our garden center is stocked with a complete line of products for the do-it-yourself landscaper and the passionate gardener. Come into the upper store and browse the garden art, or go to the annex to find a watering wand. The lower store is filled to the rafters with houseplants and leads to “Santa’s Room” where we keep a diverse selection of custom bird feeders and birdhouses while our jolly friend summers up at the North Pole.
Out in the yard you can choose from numerous samples of mulch, soil, compost, and stone to meet your needs. Stroll among the plants and visit our vast display of containers, or find a piece of garden furniture that is a perfect fit for your backyard. Let our friendly, knowledgeable staff answer your questions and assist you with your purchase. Plan a visit, or if you are passing by please stop in to see what’s new at Poundridge Nurseries, Inc.
